In a dystopian city inspired by modern metropolitan of Chennai, people live in all kinds of Guilds. A person’s Guilds is determined by their profession or social position in the city. Author C. G. Salamander pits his three young protagonists against the elements.
The story has everything that the author wanted to write about: black magic, nefarious schemes, edgy but heroic auto drivers, and children with superpowers.

During the City of Rubble Book Launch at Bookaroo, we did a Book Reading Session, Q&A and Draw-Along with both the author and illustrator! It was a day to remember.
City of Rubble is the perfect entry point to longer fantasy and adventure chapter books if your child is starting to show an interest in the genre.
