The occasion of joy
Hello! Festival lovers. Welcome to the world of festivals. The journey onwards is about one of the oldest festivals. It is an all time favourite of children, Christmas. Here you’ll enjoy singing Christmas carols.
The birthday of Jesus is celebrated as Christmas. It’s known for the occasion of gifts. I have a lot of fun during this because we recieve gifts on this festival. For me it’s a very joyful festival. We sing Christmas carols like- Jingle Bells, We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year etc. It’s one of my favourite festivals. Santa for me, is my father because he places the gift underneath my pillow and insists that Santa has left the gift. He gives me more gifts on his behalf and denies to be the Santa. But still, I know my Santa very well.
Now, let me tell you about the real Santa. The name of the legend was ‘Saint Nicholas’. He helped poor and unhappy people. He was born on 15 March 270 AD and he died on 6 December 343 AD. In Christmas we also decorate Christmas trees, we hang big socks to get gifts in and we wear red and white themed clothes. We eat ‘Stuffed Turkey’, ‘Apple Pie’, Cake and ‘Christmas Pudding’.
We believe that Santa comes at Midnight with his 9 reindeers- Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen and the Red-Nosed Reindeer Rudolph. He enters the house through the chimney or the window and places the gift in the giant sock. Rudolph is usually depicted as the ninth and youngest of Santa’s reindeer, using his luminous red nose to lead the reindeer team and guide Santa’s sleigh on Christmas Eve.
So, this was my experience and story on Christmas. But do you believe in Santa? How do you celebrate your Christmas? Tell me in the Comment Box down below. Hope you enjoyed reading it. If you did then, like, share and tell me what content do you want me to bring next. Merry Christmas.
