Europe tour is my favourite so far. We visited the following countries during our tour in 2015: Switzerland, Germany, France, Italy, Vatican City, Netherlands and Monaco.
Europe consists of some beautiful countries with lots of history, heritage, monuments and tourist attractions.
Switzerland
Switzerland is most scenic with places like the Mount Titlis glacier, Bern, Thun and Lucerne. We enjoyed the rides like cable car, rotary car, ice flyer on the glacier. This is our most favourite destination.
Italy
Vatican City is the smallest country in the world. The Pope lives at St. Peter’s Basilica.
Italy consists of Rome, the Colosseum, Florence, Genoa, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, Milan, Verona and Venice (the floating city). While there, we enjoyed a Gondola ride in Venice and gelato ice creams in Italy.
France
Monaco (Monte Carlo) had a nice view of Mediterranean sea.
France has tourist spots like Nice, Cannes (famed for its International Film Festival), Lyon and Paris. We cherished the view from the top of the Eiffel tower. Paris is often referred to as the City of Light and City of Love. The famous Mona Lisa painting by Leonardo Da Vinci is in the Louvre Museum.
Amsterdam
Netherlands’ capital Amsterdam is known for its heritage and elaborate canal system. Keukenhof gardens have a large collection of tulips and other varieties of flowers that give fabulous views and landscapes that were captured in many feature films.
Germany
We lived in Frankfurt, Germany and visited nearby places during our stay for 10 months over there.
