One day I was doing my homework in my room. My mother came and told me that we will be traveling to Kanyakumari. I got excited. I couldn’t believe that I would be in Kanyakumari. It was a happy moment in my life. We had planned to stay there for a few days.
We booked our train tickets and packed our bags. When we reached the railway station, I was surprised to see my grandmother, grandfather, uncle and aunt there. They were going to travel with us to Kanyakumari. Our entire family was in one compartment.
While we were on the train, the train crossed a bridge. My mother showed me something amazing. There was a big sea below the bridge. After that I slept for some time. When I woke up we had reached Kanyakumari. It was beautiful.
Soon we reached our hotel room. We got ready to visit the different places around the town. We visited many places like beaches, temples and the Thiruvalluvar statue. It was huge!! We took a few pictures. They are memorable pictures. I love them. I also bought some toys made of shells. I enjoyed my trip a lot. We didn’t want to leave.
