In 2018, I visited Kerala with my family. Kerala is known as God’s own country. It is full of natural beauty and we loved it there.
We travelled to many different places in the state of Kerala. We saw mountains, waterfalls and tea gardens. One of the most unique experiences was spending a day on a houseboat. It was like living on the water. At first, I felt a bit scared to move around, but once you get used to it, it is like a normal house. It shakes sometimes, but mostly it is steady.
During our trip, we also went on a hot air balloon. It was a scenic experience. We could see almost all of Kerala from the top.
We also went to an amusement park called Dreamland. We were so excited as there were so many different rides in there. There was a 3D art gallery, a mirror maze and a horror jungle. We also watched a 3D movie, it felt like we were in the movie. It was unbelievable!
While at the amusement park, I had a little accident, my mother and I were playing on the swing. I was pushing her swing when I missed catching it and it hit me. I fell and it pained terribly for a few days.
On our way back we saw a place where a scene of the movie Chennai Express was shot. Overall, my family and I enjoyed our trip a lot.
