Hill stations are so beautiful to visit, and India is home to some of the most scenic hill stations in the world. When my family were planning on a trip to Manali, I was extremely thrilled. We were going to be travelling with my uncle’s family. I had heard so much about Manali from my friends, I couldn’t wait to be there.
The journey to Manali was a bit longer than usual, we first took a flight to Delhi from Chennai. From Delhi, we booked a cab to Manali. We passed through many states like Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh on our way. There were some important places on our way, like Palampur, Vaishnavi Devi temple and Dalai Lama temple.
After a long journey, we finally reached Manali. We had booked rooms in a three-star hotel which was surrounded by mountains and trees. The view from my room was breathtaking. Once we were settled, we walked along the brooks and meadows covered with snowflakes.
The next day we went to Beas Kund through Rohtang pass which is under the control of the Indian Army. Finally, we reached the top which was 12,000 feet above. The view was stunning!
On the last day of our trip, we went sky diving and trekking. I went with my father but my mother was very afraid to join us.
We enjoyed our trip and returned home for one week of relaxation and fun. It was a memorable family trip.
Hope you enjoyed reading my blog.
