Travelling to Jaipur: The Pink City

Hi I am Pratishtha Bhatnagar and in today’s blog,  I would like to share my experience of visiting Bikaner and Jaipur.

Bikaner and Jaipur are famous for their royal spaces, temples, havalies and sweets.

First, we went to Bikaner to visit my maternal grandmother’s house. I stayed there for about six days.

We visited Karni Mata temple with my relatives. I ate many Indian sweets like ghevar, raskadam, ladoo, rasgulla, churme ki chakki and many more.

One day, a lizard came into our room! It almost took us an hour to get it out. 

The next day we had to travel to Jaipur by road. We started our journey at 10 AM. It took us five hours to reach Jaipur.

We met our cousins at Jaipur after a long period of time. 

We started our journey back home early in the morning. It almost took us 12 hours by road to reach our home in Chandigarh.

In the end, I would like to conclude by saying it was a wonderful trip. I enjoyed it a lot and I am looking forward to going on a trip again.
