Kali, a boy from a village in Kovalam, watches actress Padmini on TV and is completely smitten by her Bharatanatyam skills. He tries to imitate and match steps with her, and just like that the dancer in him is born.

Soon enough, Kali begins to perform at different events for his school.

During one such performance, Sarah Chanda, a hospital manager who is in the audience, realizes Kali’s potential. She offers to help him train to be a dancer but Kali is in a dilemma: to pursue his passion or land a job that gives him a pay cheque?
