Description

Lalita is Mini Singh, the potter’s, pet pig. She lives in his pottery studio. Mini loves Lalita very much and lets her do whatever she wants. Like any other pig, Lalita does many pig-headed things. She snorts and digs up the garden, grunts and scares the fish in the pond, and harrumphs and eats all the lilies.

Mini’s Aai, Tai, and other members of his family are angry with him for setting Lalita loose. Yet, Mini lets her be, until one morning when he finds all his beautiful bowls broken, jugs shattered, and teapots smashed. Lalita is in big trouble.

What happens next? Find out in this story inspired by Lalita the pig, and her grown-up, the author – who happens to be a potter – in Pune.
